It is the first time you have ever had to set foot inside of an attorney’s office. For most, this can be scary and very emotional—rarely do people actively seek to want to face that threshold. At Rech Law, here are some tips you can expect when you walk through our door for the first time.
Every client that calls to set up an initial consultation is sent a new client information packet. This information will provide our office with basic background information about the issue, the client, and any other active party to the matter. We ask that clients try and send this back to us before the initial meeting so we can most effectively utilize our time together during the consultation. Time during a consultation seems to fly! We want to maximize this as effectively as we can and not spend time going over any basic information that can be done ahead of time.
The goal of this initial meeting is to have you leave with a better understanding of your situation, and peace of mind of where to go next. Even if a potential client does not have to means to go any further than an initial consultation—perhaps the timing it just not right or there is something else going on prohibiting this—we want you to leave with a strong “starting off point” so you know where you stand and where to go next.
