Alaina Prevatte
About
A Greenville, North Carolina native, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services and a minor in Psychology. While in my bachelor’s program, I worked as a Victims Advocate, specializing in working with victims of Domestic Violence. After graduating from East Carolina, I headed to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to attend law school at the University of Alabama School of Law.
I went to law school knowing my passion was to help families, so I focused my coursework on family law as much as possible. While in law school, I gained hands-on experience through the Family Law Mediation Clinic where I served as a court appointed mediator in family law cases. In addition to my experience in Tuscaloosa, I came home to North Carolina each summer for internships at family law firms.
On any given weekend, you can find me trying new restaurants with my husband or buying local treats at the Farmers’ Market. In my free time, I also enjoy exploring the Charlotte area with friends and my seven-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Kato.
