About
I practice family law because I enjoy connecting with my clients and helping guide and empower them with empathy and compassion through what I know can be a difficult time in their lives.
I grew up in Gastonia, NC, and have had connections with the Charlotte community since I was a child. I attended college at UNC Charlotte for my undergraduate education. Prior to law school, I worked as a court advocate at the Abuse Prevention Council in Cleveland County for three years. This work inspired me to pursue a career as an attorney.
I graduated from UNC School of Law in 2021 with honors in 2021. During law school, I completed over 200 hours of pro bono work, was on the National Holderness Moot Court team, and served as president of Law Students Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. Afterwards, I was awarded a prestigious Julian T. Pierce fellowship at Legal Aid of North Carolina, where I provided legal services to underserved individuals. I then began working at The Child’s Advocate program where I was in the unique role of representing children in highly contentious custody cases.
I returned to the Charlotte area in 2024 where I practiced with another family law firm in Charlotte, and then joined Rech Law in 2025.
In my free time, you can find me reading a good book with a cat on my lap!
