Christerfer Purkey
About
I am a native of Stanly County, North Carolina, a short drive from Charlotte. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History from Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina. I then went on to attend Lincoln Memorial University, where I worked with a solo practitioner in my hometown of Albemarle, North Carolina, primarily handling civil and family litigation. While in law school, I was the President of the Federalist Society.
After completing law school, I returned home and spent the last several years working as a solo practitioner in a small law firm. I have represented clients in multiple areas of practice, including misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses, civil litigation, probate administration and family law. The most rewarding aspect of my legal profession has been working towards reuniting families in child protective services cases.
Out of the office I enjoy spending time with my wife, two boys, and playing guitar.
Practice Philosophy
I am distinctly familiar with the family law process as I grew up in a single-family home, and witnessed how taxing a contested custody matter can be. I understand how important it is to keep the client’s goals at the center of the case. I strive to work hard for each client and give everyone the attention and focus that their matter deserves.
