About
I am originally from Chicago, Illinois but quickly decided that cold winters were not for me. This realization brought me to Clemson University, where I received my B.A. in Sociology, with a concentration in Criminal Justice. After completing my degree at Clemson, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. If anyone asks, the answer is Clemson.
I moved to Charlotte after completing my Master’s degree in the hopes of finding success in a thriving, young city. I joined the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Gaston as a Club Director, in which I led and managed all day-to-day operations of the Bessemer City Club, as well as developed their social media platform and engaged in community outreach. While my time with the Boys and Girls Club was rewarding, my interest in criminal justice brought me to the next step in my career: the legal field. I began my legal career with Rech Law in early 2018, first as a legal administrative assistant, then as a paralegal, and am now serving as the Director of Operations.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs, playing tennis, and eating my way through all of Charlotte’s fantastic restaurants.
