About
I was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, and graduated from Page High School. I went on to attend East Carolina University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Communication Studies. I was incredibly involved at ECU in organizations such as Black Student Union, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. After that, I pursued my law degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law where I was involved in the Student Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Trial Advocacy Board, Intellectual Property Law Society, Black Law Students Association, and I was a Dean's Ambassador.
Additionally while in law school, I interned with a Department of Social Services (DSS) firm, and that experience solidified my passion for family law. I knew then that I wanted to dedicate my career to helping families navigate some of the most difficult and personal moments of their lives.
I’ve been working in family law for over a year and I truly love every minute of it. Whether it’s custody, divorce, or adoption, I approach each case with empathy, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s best for clients and their families.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me watching YouTube, playing The Sims or Animal Crossing, working out, or spending time with my nieces and nephew. I also love trying new restaurants around Charlotte—if I’m not at the office or at home, there’s a good chance I’m enjoying a meal at one of my favorite spots in the city or grabbing coffee at a locally owned coffee shop.
