About

I was born and raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia where I spent the majority of my life. Following high school, I attended Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, before transferring to, and graduating from, Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina with a B.A. in Political Science. I received my Juris Doctor, with Distinction, from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 2004 and returned to West Virginia where I practiced law for 19 years.

During that time, I established myself as a versatile trial attorney. I developed a track record of litigation experience and success in various facets of the law including criminal defense, abuse and neglect, family law and various areas of civil practice.

In 2023, my fiancé and I relocated to the Charlotte area to start the next chapters of our personal and professional lives. It is our hope that we have a positive effect on our community as well as the people in it.
